help me with these piano questions plzzz!! O_O?
1.What does the word staccato mean?
2.When playing the piano, what does a legato mean?
3.When playing the piano, what is a diminuendo?
4.When playing the piano, what is a crescendo?
5.When playing the piano, what is a grace note?
1. Staccato means to play the note very short. Like a chicken pecking the note.
2. Legato means to play the note long and smooth, and connected to the other notes.
3. Diminuendo means get gradually softer.
4. Crescendo means get gradually louder.
5. Grace notes are very, very, very short notes played right before a more important longer note. They are used as decorations.
